Rahul Kumar embodies an amalgamation of a never-say-die attitude, creativity, and unique ideas. He is an engineering graduate (B.Tech.) with a Master’s in Management (Finance & General Management), an aquarist and a gardener with the entrepreneurial spirit of a farmer.
He possesses a flair for Project Development in the public sector. His expertise is in Project Ideation, Feasibility, Regulation & Law Analysis, Development Framework, Costing, Financial Modelling & Analysis, Contract Structuring, Transaction Process Management and managing a host of issues related to project development.
With over 20 years of experience, he brings complementary insights of multiple sectors like steel, oil & gas, power, water utility, wastewater recycling, desalination, and waste management. To his credit he has closed more than rupees one lakh crores worth of transactions till date, which were mostly unique in nature. He has served prestigious organizations like SAIL, IOCL, IL&FS, ICRA, Mott-MacDonald, and served DFID, World Bank and ADB, on various projects related to project development
Specifically in the waste management sector, he has been involved in various consulting assignments for flagship projects pertaining to Collection & Transportation, Processing and Remediation of legacy waste dumpsites.
